CA 72.4 is a tumor-associated glycoprotein (TAG-72) test. Elevated levels can be observed in certain cancers, particularly gastric (stomach) cancer. While not used for early cancer screening, CA 72.4 testing helps evaluate treatment response and monitor for cancer recurrence in appropriate clinical contexts.
